MICHELLE LIM

MICHELLE LIM (Ensemble/Dance Captain) Born and raised in Singapore, trained in the country's first pre-tertiary arts institution, the School of the Arts, Singapore (SOTA), as part of their pioneering class. During her time at SOTA, she was an apprentice at The Human Expression Dance Company as well as a dancer with their youth division. In 2013, Michelle moved to New York to continue her training, becoming the first Singaporean dancer to attend and graduate from the B.F.A dance program at The Juilliard School. Michelle has performed works by Jose Limon, Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor, Mark Morris, Takehiro Ueyama, Matthew Neenan, Loni Landon, Zvi Gotheiner, Roy Assaf, Peter Chu, and Christian Denice. She has performed with the Merce Cunningham Trust in their restaging of Second Hand and Exchange. Michelle started working with Springboard Danse Montréal in 2015, working closely with Artistic Director Alexandra Wells. Michelle joined WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company in 2017.
